Transfer to Fostra
Yes. You can transfer to Fostra during the school year if there is an available place in your chosen program and year of study. Contact us first, and we will check the current availability and guide you through the next steps.
Yes. Students from other high schools, including four-year and multi-year grammar schools, can apply for a transfer to Fostra.
First, we will need information about your current school, study program, year of study, and your most recent school report.
If a transfer is possible, the next step is to submit a written application. For students under 18, the application must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian and must include the student's consent.
The student will then complete an interview and a transfer test. Based on the results, the school principal makes the final decision about the transfer.
As part of the transfer process, you will have an interview and a placement exam. The school principal determines the requirements for the placement exam after reviewing your previous studies. You will be informed about the content, format, and date of the exam in advance.
If we have received all the necessary documents and the student completes the interview and placement exam at the earliest available date, the entire process can be completed within a few working days.
Once all requirements have been successfully met, the school principal will make a decision without unnecessary delay so that the student can start as soon as possible.
Yes. You can visit us during an Open Day or arrange an individual visit to the campus where your chosen program is taught.
We will be happy to show you around the school, explain our teaching approach, and answer any questions you may have.
We make sure that new students feel welcome and receive the support they need to settle into their new school.
The class teacher introduces the new student to their classmates and explains how the school works. Teachers help identify any subjects or topics the student may need to catch up on and offer individual consultations if needed.
Additional support is available from our school counselling team. During the first few weeks, we also monitor how the student is settling into the class and whether any further support is needed.
By completing the non-binding application form, you will be the first to access up-to-date information on admissions and important deadlines!
