IB Diploma Programme: IB Candidate School

During excursions and trips with commentary in English, students have a unique opportunity to deepen their language skills in real-life situations. We emphasize the development of adaptability, communication, linguistic agility, and cultural awareness.
Project days are a great opportunity for students to explore a variety of topics such as ecology, effective learning methods, future career prospects, and the practical application of AI. All of this is led by a native English speaker.
Study abroad programs allow students to spend several months at secondary schools abroad, where they can fully immerse themselves in a different culture and improve their English language skills.
IB Diploma program
The program focuses on developing independence, critical thinking, and global awareness. Students choose six subjects from various fields and complete the compulsory parts of the program: Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay, and CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service). Classes are taught in English, with an emphasis on skills and the practical application of knowledge.
The IB diploma is recognized by universities around the world and is equivalent to the Czech maturita exam. The program develops key 21st-century skills such as analytical thinking, collaboration, and digital literacy. Daily instruction combines lessons, independent work, and individual consultations.
We have begun the accreditation process for this program and plan to launch it in the 2026/2027 school year. The IB program opens up new opportunities for students to study internationally, participate in projects, and connect with the global community.
The program is optional in the second year and lasts two years, taking place in the third and fourth years.
